Description

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven Fire Inspection Supervisor to join our amazing culture.

In this role, you will lead the testing and inspection of fire-alarm systems in assigned buildings. You will field lead a team to identify and report all problems or deficiencies found in the systems you inspect.

This is a customer-facing role, and one that is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned inspections.

What you’ll do with Our Training and Your Experience

  • Test and inspect commercial fire-alarm systems for all assigned buildings. Monitor the fire-alarm panel.
  • Identify and report problems or discrepancies found in the systems you inspect in timely manner.
  • Work closely with subcontractors and key stakeholders for all customer inspections.
  • Interact with building owner or building engineer prior to, during, and following completion of the testing process.
  • Review reports and initiate next steps as necessary.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with all inspections and testing.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

  • Commitment engages with colleagues and customers to ensure successful testing operations and complete customer satisfaction.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Excellent ability to read and understand blueprints and design drawings.

Developing exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.

Solid math skills.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Requirements :

Education : High school diploma or equivalent education or experience.

Experience : 5 relevant field experience

Preferred Experience (but not required) :

  • Experience in 1 or more of the following industries : electronics / electrical, fire alarm & life safety, and / or building automation systems.
  • Certifications & Licenses : Must obtain NICET Certification within one year of date of hire.
