Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups
- Ensure food is fresh, properly stored, and rotated to maintain quality
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area
- Follow food safety guidelines and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations of the deli

Experience:
- Previous experience in a culinary or food service role preferred
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register
- Strong sales skills to upsell products and promote specials
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices
- Experience using a POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or deli setting is beneficial
