Garfield Township, Kalkaska is Hiring a Zoning Administrator Near Fife Lake, MI
At Garfield Township, Kalkaska County, the Zoning Admin communicates with the public on their zoning needs. The Administrator issues permits, possibly issues violations, work on the computer, file paperwork, and attend meetings. There are times travel will be necessary to check on construction projects, projective site plans, and possible violations. There are some "in office" requirements, including, 4 hrs. a week in the office to keep up on filing and recording. The Zoning Administrator is also responsible for knowing and fully understanding the Garfield Township Zoning Ordinance. This position is a part time position, and payroll is monthly with a monthly salary of $600. If you are interested, Please email the Clerk at clerk@garfieldtwsp.com.
