Full Day Kindergarten Paraprofessional needed for the North Randolph Elementary SchoolJob Summary:•Actively participate in the educational program and help in classroom management, lesson planning, and recording of student data, as requested.•Facilitate students' travel from classroom activities and appointments by giving specific directions and monitoring independent travel.•Manages classroom and provides instruction according to plans as prepared by the classroom teacher•Creates a classroom environment that is reflective of age appropriate learning and the maturity and interests of the students. •Participate in staff and /or unit meetings as appropriate.•Monitor all activities to ensure the safety and well-being of students and inform the teacher of any problems, conflicts and/or issues.•Work cooperatively with administrative and nursing staff to ensure that program activities are conducted in a safe and professional manner.•Works with students to help reinforce daily and weekly learning objectives•Adheres to all Randolph Public Schools policies and procedures•Uses appropriate judgment to act in the best interest of students at all times•Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal/AP and other appropriate administratorsSalary rate is based on degree level, years of relevant experience, certification, language skills, etc.Terms: 182 school days, 6.5 hours per day (plus compensated for 10 holidays)
