Gastroenterology Specialties PC is Hiring a Histology Lab Assistant Near Lincoln, NE
We are a busy Gastroenterology office with 31 Providers. We are looking for a team-oriented individual to help us provide great care to our patients! This individual should show great attention to detail and demonstrate composure under pressure.
Job Duties
- Data entry requiring work at a computer for majority of shift.
- Performs receiving, accessioning, maintenance and verification activities to support the histology staff in transforming fresh tissue specimens into microscopic slides to provide the pathologist data for diagnosis.
- Participates in laboratory operations as needed.
- Supports continuous improvement of laboratory services to ensure high quality and timely pathology for quality diagnosis.

Part-time and full-time positions available.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Great position for students taking a "gap year" between undergrad and nursing school, medical school, etc. Offers wonderful experience in a medical setting!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
