The New Carlisle Library is seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented Youth Services Associate. Library experience is preferred, but a focus on customer service is required. Experience with computers and/or library applications is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs, bend and twist, and work with computers.

Responsibilities
- Assist patrons with locating and checking out library materials.
- Desire to serve children, young adults, and parents within the New Carlisle community. - Assist Youth Services Manager with planning and executing Library programming for ages 0 - 18.
- Provide customer service by answering inquiries and resolving issues.
- Develop a working knowledge of the library's collections.
- Utilize communication skills to interact with library users and staff effectively.
- Support library services by assisting with various tasks as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
