We are now looking for a VP of Human Resources to spearhead our HR initiatives and drive organizational excellence. This pivotal role will report directly to our Chief Operating Officer and oversee all aspects of human resource management, including talent acquisition, employee onboarding, HR compliance, employee development, and organizational culture. The position is based out of Melville, NY, where you will lead our efforts to make EPSG an employer of choice in the payments industry.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy to enhance company growth and employee satisfaction.
• Lead the recruitment and selection process, ensuring it aligns with strategic goals and attracts top talent.
• Design and implement an effective onboarding process to integrate new employees into the company culture smoothly and efficiently.
• Ensure legal compliance in all HR functions, stay updated on labor legislation, and implement necessary changes in HR practices.
• Optimize HR workflows for efficiency, ensuring processes are streamlined and effective in supporting business and employee needs.
• Provide strategic leadership and management for the HR team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Develop and nurture a strong company culture that supports employee engagement and aligns with business goals.
• Establish and oversee a comprehensive performance management system that drives employee performance and supports career development.
• Implement and manage a competitive compensation and benefits strategy to attract and retain top talent.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, ensuring they are integrated into all aspects of HR and organizational culture.

QUALITIES & QUALIFICATION WE LOOK FOR

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in HR principles and practices.
• Current SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional) or SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) certification, illustrating a commitment to the HR profession and adherence to best practices.
• Extensive experience in ensuring HR compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, reflecting a deep understanding of the requirements for managing sensitive employee data and information security.
• Proven track record in a senior HR role, with demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives and enhance organizational culture.
• Expertise in navigating and staying current with labor laws and HR regulations, ensuring the organization remains compliant and risk-free.
