Summary

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize production planning and inventory control. Represent Planning as part of plant leadership team encouraging cooperation and exchanging information between Corporate Master Planning and the plant team. Lead and manage goal setting, development, training, succession planning and mentoring for one direct report (production scheduler).

Responsibilities

• Align plant operational capacities with corporate planning systems.
• Evaluate available long and short-term capacities and constraints in equipment, labor, and materials, suggest revisions and implement the final plan.
• Manage the flow and streamline the processes involved in producing a product to maximize inventory efficiencies and meet customer expectations.
• Maintain and review the production plan to adjust for forecast changes and unexpected sales.
• Consult, communicate, and determine raw material needs with Procurement.
• Manage finished good inventory levels between manufacturing locations within established control limits to support demand.
• Daily monitor inventory and codes of all products in the cooler to ensure proper rotation and traceability of all items.
• Manage day to day activities of production scheduler to implement and maintain performance metrics.
• Proactively evaluate process flow, making changes to improve time-to-fill.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business preferred.
• 5 years' experience in Supply Chain Management, Business or Operations Management.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, specifically Excel.
• ERP system experience required; IFS preferred.
• 10% local and overnight travel as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
