Our client, a major entertainment platform, is looking for a Photo / AV Curator to partner with their editorial, design, photo, and video teams to research, repackage, and publish photo & av assets across a variety of verticals and formats.

You will be responsible for collecting, curating, and facilitating access to photography and video assets to complement their editorial programming.

Key responsibilities include :

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to curate visual storytelling experiences
• Facilitate photo and video research and curation across external and internal asset banks
• Secure rights / permissions for images, artwork, and video to support creative output & editorial storytelling
• Digital asset management of photo & video
• Communicate with team via Slack

Experience & Skills

• A seasoned visuals researcher / editor who is versatile in supporting different mediums, genres, and content. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with existing photography, video, and motion assets.
• Attuned to the pulse of pop culture, entertainment TV, and movies.
• This role is 50% web publishing / 50% creative
• Knowledge of digital editorial spaces, with direct CMS experience in publishing.
• Very comfortable with complex tooling systems, including project management tools. Airtable knowledge is a plus.
• Eye and instinct for visual storytelling and pacing visuals in digital stories.
• Experience with creative direction, and post methodologies for photography and video,

preferably in the editorial space. Knowledge of photo and videos specs and file types.

Retouching and editing experience, including color corrections, resizing assets, adjusting crops, and light video editing capabilities.

Adobe CC proficient, particularly in Adobe Photoshop & Premiere.

• Strong ability and intuition to understand what visual assets resonate with different audiences.
• Experience and knowledge utilizing a wide variety of banks, databases, and agencies for stock, archival, and high-end portraiture needs
