At Bose, we believe sound is the most powerful force on earth. We’ve dedicated ourselves to improving it for nearly 60 years. And we’re passionate down to our bones about making whatever you’re listening to a little more magical.

The selected candidate should have an advanced understanding of the drivers of Ecommerce business, especially experienced in measuring and optimizing merchandising tactics (such as, product variants, product bundling etc.), customized offers (such as, product promotions, free expedited shipping etc.) and traffic channel mix to continually improve site performance. The candidate should be able to arrive at these data driven insights through use of 1P and 3P data and tools.
We are re-imagining the experience with a new platform and look for you to make an impact. If you are looking for a role in analytics that breaks the mold of focusing on reporting to focusing on uncovering insights and deep consumer truths that deliver real business impact, then this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities Of The Role
  • Be an expert at explaining, proving, and providing insight into ecomm revenue driving levers. Whether that is promotional impact, product variants, or traffic/channel adjustments.
  • Consistent understanding of marketing channel performance mix, with the ability to identify anomalies and provide insights to internal teams to make necessary change.
  • Become a driver of ecomm growth through measurement, testing, and recommendation surfacing.
  • Work cross-functionally to impact change. Build credibility through your thoroughness of your analysis. Influence standard work processes (from merchandising to growth levers optimization) to increase the velocity and frequency of data driven decision making.
  • Ability to implement and leverage 3rd party quantitative tools to provide 360 views into ecommerce performance.
  • Utilize our new Google Analytics 4 implementation and PowerBI suite to find new and innovative ways to analyze site performance and work with relevant stakeholders to effect change.
  • Be the key data storyteller that connects your research to meaningful insights that drive actions by audience ranging from merchandise planners to the CMO.
  • Leverage uplift analysis techniques to produce merchandising recommendations to drive incremental sales.
Skills And Experience
  • 5 years of experience in digital/ecommerce analytics (B2C preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics (ideally with initial GA4 experience)
  • Track record of impacting change through analytics. Ability to articulate and present complex data findings into actionable insights.
  • Experience with site merchandising and ability to determine impact of changes through methods such as uplift analysis.
  • Demonstrate EQ to influence decision making without necessary authority.
  • Working knowledge of data visualization techniques (i.e. PowerBI, Tableau), working SQL knowledge and expert ability at leveraging data visualization tools to provide insights.
  • Ability to structure A/B tests to find conclusive results that drive change.
