Job Description
Active Staffing Services, one of the leading Full-Service Staffing firms in the Metropolitan area, is recruiting on behalf of our client, a moving company located in Secaucus, NJ.
We are looking for an efficient Furniture Assembler to undertake various warehouse duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver and assemble furniture to be installed in a residential or office building
- Ability to operate a variety of hand, power, and measurement tools
- Ability to read and understand instructions manual
- Ability to lift and move up to 65 lbs and lift and move with assistance up to 120 lbs
- Transporting, Sorting, and moving office furniture efficiently, safely, and timely.
Hours: Monday to Friday – 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Must wear boots
- Must wear work pants
- Must wear a plain shirt
- Must have work gloves
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6 Months - 1-year related experience or equivalent
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Bilingual
