- This role is responsible for generating innovative ideas for content while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- The position researches backup and storage products, backup and storage services, bakcup ans storage technology or concepts to be documented and easily understood by a broad audience.
- The Lead Technical Writer is responsible for taking complex, technical information related to backup and storage prodcuts used at client and translating it into an easily understandable format, per customer guidelines.
- The Lead Technical Writer will work closely with internal employees to interpret specifications, engineering drawings, reports, test plans, configuration schemes and other data to ensure production of technical documentation that complies with customer requirements.
- The Lead Technical Writer will spearhead training and answering questions from employees regardiing specifications as required.
- Intermediate level of proficiency with desktop publishing tools is required.
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft PowerPoint is required.
