Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a_ Solderer_ /*_ Welder_ to work in the Binghamton, NY area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.*

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Solderer/Welder will assemble Printed Circuit Board/Electronic Box Build for aerospace products under the leadership of the Manager of Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Job duties will include but not limited to: assembling, soldering, inspecting, packaging, processing improvements and training.
• SMT and/or PTH soldering of Printed Circuit Boards. SMT and PTH re-work and touch-up of Printed Circuit Boards. Need skills in component bond, component assembly and hardware assembly.
• Operate machinery utilized in the Printed Circuit Board area such as the Wave solderer, CS-400, pinning machine and solder fountain.
• Perform duties of the conformal coat processes.
• Module cleaning, potting and testing.
• Ability to learn the use of bench top equipment, test equipment, hand tools, and computers.
• Assemble small mechanical products – springs, gears, mechanic subassemblies.
• Assemble and test electro and electro-mechanical products.
• Participate in meetings to determine work priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of prior experience in Production and/or Manufacturing.
• Willingness to attend additional training, either OJT or off-site training recommended by the management staff to further personal development.
• Commitment to customer and business focus in areas such as quality of work, attendance and productivity.
• Overtime may be required.
