We're looking for Sports Instructors to work on the weekends with 3-15 year olds!
The Sports Instructor will lead in having fun teaching some of our youngest players the basics of soccer, baseball, flag football, tennis, and/or basketball. The Instructor should be an expert on the game rules for each age/grade division, provided by i9 Sports. The Instructor will take the lead in the weekly instruction and in some cases the Instructor will support our volunteer coaches on the field/court to make sure proper instruction and attention is given to the players.
The Instructor will bring positive energy to the court to help ensure everyone is having a great i9 Sports Experience! The Instructor will need to be able to manage his/her court to ensure practices and games are started on time and run to the i9 Sports standard. The Instructor will be required to "officiate" the games each week.
The ideal candidate will have a background working with children as young as age 3. A sports background (football, basketball, soccer, baseball, etc.) is definitely a plus! Must be a highly motivated SELF-STARTER with HIGH ENERGY that has the ability to motivate and lead others. Must ENJOY working with children and have the ability to teach basic fundamentals in a manner that's fun and encouraging to our players. Patience is important when working with the younger kids.
This is a great opportunity for college students that enjoy sports and being active with young children.
95% of the working hours are on Saturday mornings
