Qualifications
- Associate degree in office management or related field or three years of related experience.
- Experience in bookkeeping and payroll procedures with ability to complete scheduled tasks on time. Experience with public funds preferred.
- People oriented individual, skilled in customer relations, and willing to be a team player. Must be able to work in a group effort.
- Communication skills of listening, questioning, and speaking.
- Problem solving skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work on multiple tasks.
- Advanced computer literacy required. Experience with MS Office – specifically MS Word, Excel, and Outlook or other e-mail program. Experience with GP Dynamics accounting system preferred.
- Familiarity with basic office equipment necessary to run a professional office.

- Supervisor: The Delaware County Extension Program Director or his/her designee.
- Mileage for use of personal vehicle in the performance of approved duties will be paid at the current Delaware County travel allowance rate.
- The Office Assistant will have access to computer/office equipment, paper, and postage necessary to accomplish work assignments.

- Retirement benefits – IPERS.
