Description
We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in the motor freight forwarding industry, based in Richmond, Virginia. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a Help Desk Analyst I, you will play a key role in providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, software, and hardware. You will be the first point of contact for technical-related issues or requests and will need to accurately document all interactions in the IT Management System.
Responsibilities:
Provide quality technical assistance, support, and education for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Troubleshoot and resolve common issues and frequently asked requests swiftly and correctly.
Accurately enter all customer and system interactions into the Service Desk ticketing program, ensuring correct routing and communication of escalated events.
Deliver exceptional customer service via the company's communication channels by providing accurate information, direction, and quality documentation of the customers' needs or issues.
Adhere to policies and procedures addressing problem identification, documentation, routing, escalation, and resolution.
Maintain a professional interaction with all contacts and ensure high communication.
Communicate undocumented issues and resolutions to aid the growth of the team's knowledge base files.
Handle technical issues related to Citrix Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deskside Support, Desktop Hardware.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned, adhering to operational, safety, and other needs.
Requirements
A minimum of one year's experience in a similar role or relevant industry
Proficiency in Citrix Technologies
Familiarity with Database management
Knowledge of EO/IR systems
Experience with Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of Active Directory
Ability to troubleshoot Computer Hardware issues
Experience in Configuration Management
Proven skills in Deskside Support
Knowledge of Desktop Hardware
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
High attention to detail and organizational skills
