Responsibilities
- Maintain ownership and responsibility for delivering customer quotations on time
- Identify and initiate conference calls required for RFQ’s
- Develop statements of work for new technology implementation
- Develop and maintain pricing schedules
- Facilitate all aspects of quotation process to meet customer’s requirements
- Manage established standard margins
- Ensure accuracy of equipment quoted
- Attend job start-up calls
- Support TL in the services organization
- Copy all surveys and quotes to the S-Drive or equivalent as required
- Perform all work with safety in mind and ensure that all safety measures are met
- Update Project Management of all quotation activity
- BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or minimum (2) years of directly related work experience in DC Power and/or Central Office Transport Design Engineering.
- Familiarity with DC Power and/or Transport industry specifications and testing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently
- Willingness to meet deadlines
- Good customer relation skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of key business systems
- Ability to multitask and adapt to constantly changing priorities
