Position overview: The Manager of Membership Plus is responsible for overseeing Teaching Strategies' brand presence and voice across the Teaching Strategies Professional Develoment Membership PLUS and Certification Programs in order to build a highly engaged following and grow subject matter knowledge for candidates. The Manger supports the other Early Literacy Trainers and manages a caseload of certificate candidates, providing them with expert guidance on product use and best practices in various formats such as live virtual classes, group discussion, live small group coaching, and by developing compelling posts and responses within discussion forums. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Coaching, this individual will help support not only the certification canidates, but also serve as an expert and coach for the other Early Literacy Trainers. This role will work closely with the education, professional development, and memberships teams within the organization.
Specific Roles And Responsibilities
  • Provides Coaching and Content support for Trainers (contract role) to ensure consistency in message and voice across the Certification Programs
  • Manages a caseload of Certificate candidates and creates opportunities to foster meaningful professional relationship with this group.
  • Works with other Membership Managers and PD Content team to create, review and refine content prior to delivery.
  • Collaborates with Senior Manager of Coaching to cadence for live class delivery and reviews post-survey data for sessions and trainers to make refinements to schedules.
  • Together with content teams, creates content to share within discussion forums.
  • Prepares for and delivers live Professional Development daily for certificate candidates.
  • Creates a regular cadence of communication and engagement with assigned teachers and respond to questions in a timely manner.
  • Holds weekly office hours for teacher support and schedule one-on-one meetings with assigned coaches as requested.
  • Reads and responds to discussion in the forums on a daily basis.
  • Develops, refines, and delivers Professional Development content for certification candidates based on current best practices in early childhood education and science of reading.
  • Performs research on current topics, trends and best practices in coaching and educational leadership to support coaching work.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in early childhood education or related field; master's preferred
  • Certification and/or specialization in Early Literacy Instruction
  • Minimum of 3 years in an educational leadership or management role
  • Minimum of 3 years serving in an educational coaching or similar educational leadership role
  • Experience establishing and communicating performance and quality metrics aligned with organizational goals
  • Self-directed and strong drive for success
  • Takes responsibility for work and has a strong sense of project/work management
  • Ability to research, listen, and identify client needs based on assessment conversations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to learn new technology applications
  • Working knowledge of, or experience in, the early childhood field
  • Working knowledge of Teaching Strategies products
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required.
