Assistant PROJECT Manager

Job Description: DPC Engineering, LLC (DPC) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have direct experience with project support tasks, as summarized below, as well as remote work experience. The Assistant Project Manager position will work closely with the DPC project team, and will report directly to our Director of Engineering. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are important. The candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook, Adobe PDF, and electronic file management. The candidate shall have the ability to assist multiple projects and tasks at a time while paying strict attention to detail. Our engineering and field services projects are located in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire. The Assistant Project Manager will be completing the following tasks:

· Construction Phase Support: Assist with the development of agendas, participation in meetings, meeting summaries, schedules, budget summaries, RFIs, shop drawings, tracking tools, and other construction administration support tasks.

· Bidding Phase Support: Assist with the management of DPC’s bidding tasks, including assembling of bidding documents, planholders’ lists, addenda, bid openings, bid summaries, review of bids received, communication with clients after the bids, and other bidding phase support tasks.

· Project Administration: Assist with the development of project plans, specifications, meetings, field services scheduling, coordination with the project team, budget summaries, reports, memos, field services logs, and other project deliverables.

· Business Development Support: Assist with the preparation of funding applications, loan/grant agreements, RFP evaluation, proposals, Agreements with Clients, Sub-Agreements with vendors, reviewing/organizing invoices and supporting materials, and other business development tasks

· Document Control and File Management: Assist with organization and maintenance of digital files within Client and Project folders, and other related tasks.

Company Overview: DPC is a Longmeadow, Massachusetts based engineering consulting firm serving municipal, private and institutional clients in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire. DPC focuses primarily on water/wastewater/civil planning, evaluation, design and construction projects, including piping systems, pump stations and treatment facilities.

Job Type and Work Schedule: This is a full-time position. This is a fully-remote position. The candidate must live in Massachusetts, Connecticut or New Hampshire, where DPC is registered to do business. This is a great career growth opportunity.
