Catering experience would be advantageous but is not essential. The role holder would support our Chef to prepare the lunch service for our young people and staff team, maintain the dining room and help clear away. We are looking for someone who will interact well with our young people and can create interesting visual displays giving information about food, nutrition, culture, and traditions. We would like our successful candidate to be engaging and add an element of creativity and fun to our young people's lunch time experience.As part of Aspris Children’s Services, we are immensely proud of the career pathway and training we can offer you. Previous experience preparing and cooking meals gained within a professional kitchen environment along with the following characteristics:
Communication Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
Organisation You will need to be confident and organised in updating menus, dietary requirements and reporting information that will be relevant to the care of our young people.
