Furnished Finder is seeking a motivated and experienced SaaS Platform Engineer to join our team. The SaaS Platform Engineer IV will conduct and optimize our systems including those for lead management, case management and telephony. This role will work closely with our engineering team on data and system integrations with our product and databases. They will own configuration and architecture of the third-party systems supporting our sales, support, and back-office teams. On any given day, the SaaS Platform Engineer IV could be troubleshooting issues, designing innovative solutions to business workflows, assisting stakeholders with dashboards, or partnering on systems requirements for a new customer or agent experience. This creative and technical leader willbe involved in several new software implementations as we continue to level up our game at Furnished Finder. This role will report to the VP of Operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the systems architecture for the operations teams and the connectivity design between them.
• Lead the design and implementation of available and scalable infrastructure solutions, utilizing best practices and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business and technical requirements, architect solutions, and drive projects to successful completion.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, and processes to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Establish and enforce infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency, reliability, and security across environments.
• Monitor the performance and health of our platform, implementing proactive measures to optimize resource utilization and prevent downtime.
• Evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our platform.
• Establish and maintain protocol to maintain availability of our platform.
• Document architectural designs, implementation details, and operational procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure maintainability.

• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related experience.
• 7 years of experience as a platform engineer or similar role supporting operations teams (support, sales) with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions.
• Experience configuring and creatively working with case and/or lead management systems such as Zendesk, SalesForce, Jira Service Desk, or Hubspot.
• Experience partnering closely with software engineering teams to collectively problem solve, then design and implement creative solutions.
• Experience working with event streaming services.
• Familiarity working in an Agile, sprint-based environment using task tracking tools such as Jira.
• Designing and implementing integration solutions between systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and resolution.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
