Overview

Our client in Palo Alto, CA, has an immediate need for an experienced Housekeeper to help care for their 2,500 sq. ft. home and assist with household errands and projects. Ideal candidates for this role will be friendly, collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented.

This is an active household with two adults and four school-aged children! No childcare required.

Hours:

• Monday-Friday 

• 10:00 am-6:00 pm 

• Local candidates only, please

• Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Daily and deep cleaning of the entire home and outdoor patio. 

• Family laundry and ironing: clothing and linens.

• Light food prep as needed.

• Receiving groceries and deliveries. 

• Maintain inventory of household supplies.

• Organization of kitchen cabinets, closets, and storage areas as needed.

• Observe and report maintenance issues.

 Qualifications:

• MUST have at least 3 or more years of experience working in a private home with similar job duties.

• Highly respectful of the family’s privacy.

• A team player in a busy household: energetic, capable of juggling several tasks at a time.

• Organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills.

• Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, squat, crouch, bend, lift, push, pull.

• Fluent in English and an effective communicator. 

• Provide recent and verifiable references and be willing to submit to a background check.

• Must be eligible to work legally in the US.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $45-50 per hour

• Monthly healthcare stipend 

• 10 days of paid vacation

• Paid holidays
