Summary

Per Sé Group is seeking an Manufacturing Solutions Specialist for our client, North America’s premier supplier and servicer of lasers, EDMs, press brakes and fabrication and milling equipment. Founded in 1978, our client has more than 430 employees in North America and is a part of a global corporation, serving industries including aerospace, automotive, mold and die, job shops, medical and energy. In this role, you will work to develop processes to enhance customer production by utilizing product analysis and demonstrations. In collaboration with sales, you will prepare and carry out marketing efforts for securing business from prospective customers. You will analyze and develop manufacturing processes, determine best training methodologies for customers and build demonstration techniques in an effort to improve/enhance the performance of industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate showroom activities including machine demonstrations, process development, test studies, test-cuts and overall presentation and cleanliness of showroom areas
• Support set up and operations of Laser/Press brake machines at trade shows
• Build successful relationship with Laser/Press brake distributors
• Increase sales and revenue by identifying customer opportunities for sales.
• Create solutions for customers in addressing machine maintenance and applications-related problems.
• Develop and analyze customer needs and prepare demonstrations and reports for pre-sales activities for Sales and potential and current customers

Preferred Skills and Expertise

• Technical degree
• 2-5 years’ work experience in similar Industry
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNC programming skills
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D laser system
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Possess analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to customers, trade shows and corporate events.
• Ability to operate a motor- vehicle and possession of a valid Driver’s License
