Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Audiologist to join our healthcare team three days a week. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders. 3. Treatment Planning: Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, which may include hearing aids, assistive listening devices, or other therapeutic interventions.
4. Hearing Aid Fittings: Provide expert guidance on selecting, fitting, and adjusting hearing aids for optimal comfort and performance.
5. Counseling: Offer counseling and support to patients and their families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and coping mechanisms.
6. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as otolaryngologists, speech-language pathologists, and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including test results, treatment plans, and progress notes.
8. Stay Informed: Keep abreast of advancements in audiology research, technology, and best practices to continuously improve patient care.
