The Director of Enterprise Project Management Office )EPMO) will lead the organization’s project management efforts, ensuring that all projects align with the company’s strategic goals and are executed efficiently. This role involves assembling, maintaining and improving the project management framework, providing oversight and governance for all projects and programs and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role will also manage the team of Project Managers on the EPMO team and support and mentor project managers across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing strategic planning, execution, and governance of projects and programs across the organization
Developing and implementing project management methodologies, standards and best practices
Ensure project and program alignment with organizational goals
Fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvements
Coach and mentor project managers and other project professionals as needed, sharing their knowledge and best practices for the betterment of the entire organization
Create and monitor annual performance targets and reviews for the team and share progress to the executive team
Monitor projects, programs and portfolio to ensure compliance with project policies and standards as well as keeping to schedules, budgets and quality expectations
Provide strategic leadership and deciding the direction of current or new projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management or related field
Extensive experience in project and portfolio management and organizational change management
Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Passion for mentoring and coaching direct team members and cross-functional stakeholders
