The Role:
We are on the lookout for a Controller/Accountant on an upward career path who embodies our commitment to excellence, innovation, and financial stewardship. As the monetary backbone of our operations, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our continued success and growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate bookkeeping and payroll, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
• Financial risk management.
• Lead all financial and accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, tax preparation, payroll, and reporting.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, report variances, and prepare financial modeling.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Controller, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a leadership role within the finance department, preferably within the hospitality, restaurant, or related industry.
• A deep understanding of GAAP and financial principles specific to the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
• Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills; ability to interact and build relationships with all levels of the organization.
