Job Summary
The Perinatal Education/Family Programs Instructor is responsible for:
Safety of all customers.
Participating in all IRMC mandatory opportunities.
Assuring evidence based educational programs.
Participating in performance improvement projects.
Completing Assigned Dept. Projects/Tasks.
Assisting with Dept. Budget.
Attending Department meetings.
Participating in scheduled/assigned community events.
Work cooperatively with all members of the Perinatal Educational Team.
Assist with staff in-services.
Job Specification
Minimum Education Required: Graduate of a Nursing Program, Licensed Healthcare Program or Bachelor Degree in Health Related Field
Minimum Experience Required: two years or more of teaching childbirth or maternal child education preferred or two years of practical experience in maternal/child or women’s health nursing.
Licensure/Certification Required
Must be BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire).
