Human Resources Manager/Recruiter

Overview

We are a fast-growing healthcare technology company seeking a talented, highly motivated, and experienced HR Manager that can be on site 5 days a week to help manage a growing team of approximately 250 people across all telehealth functions, including corporate offices, pharmacies, and remote personnel for a 365, 24/7 operation.

We’re seeking more than one team member to support the HR functions, ideally candidates who can assist not only our in-house recruiting functions, but also manage generalist HR responsibilities. Our team has expanded from a Chicago-based HQ to now having offices in Austin, Miami, and warehousing and logistics operations that are in full-growth mode. The range of candidates we are actively recruiting and then supporting throughout the entire employment lifecycle include: Senior Software Engineers, Product Managers, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Motion Designer, Procurement and Supply Chain roles, Business Analysts, Medical Content Writers, Machine Operators, and more.

We are hoping to find someone who has “been there, done that” when asked about their hands-on experience and is ready to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, college fairs and employee referrals to identify potential candidates.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Manage the recruitment process from initial contact to offer acceptance, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.
  • Develop job descriptions and selection criteria.
  • Support the functional areas of human resources including, but not limited to, onboarding, training and development, performance management, personnel records, compensation and benefits, employee relations, retention and engagement, and off-boarding.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve the efficiency of the HR department and organization, and to improve the employee experience.
  • Manage ongoing policies, programs, and procedures to foster understanding of and improvement in management, supervisory, or employee relations.
  • Assist with field investigations as needed.
  • Assist in conducting payroll operations efficiently and accurately as needed.
  • Coordinate and enforce HR policies, processes, systems, and reporting activities. Ensure consistency of application.
  • Effectively manage employee relations issues.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of benefit programs in partnership with the corporate benefits team.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist experience.
  • Enjoys the recruitment process.
  • PHR or SPHR certification desirable.
  • HR/HRIS Administration and technical expertise.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possesses specialized knowledge of HR systems, processes, and procedures, including administration of benefits, compensation, and other programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong, positive working. relationships in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Paylocity is a plus.
