(.5) Middle School Specials/Encore Teacher - Madeira Middle School

Interested candidates should possess the following criteria:

• Ability to teach a variety of elective courses including courses in the areas of Wellness, Fitness, and Communications 

• Demonstrated knowledge of grades 6th-8th literacy standards and the writing process

• Evidence of innovative lesson plans designed to organically connect students to real-world issues, events, and topics through a variety of course options

• Demonstrated knowledge of differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all learners

• Evidence of positive communication/collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff

• A commitment to grow professionally

• Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity 

• Must hold a 4-9 or 1-8 license.
