NCCF is Hiring a Human resource coordinator Near Bethesda, MD

Purpose :

The Human Resources Coordinator for DC Programs ensures proper and timely onboarding and compliance for DC programs and maintains health relationships with internal clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Maintains all program files to be current at all times.
  • Completes written requests for employment verifications on current and former staff.
  • Prepares and collects HR documents for weekly approval, including status forms, purchase orders for processing and payment monitoring, and all applicable items.
  • Responsible for clearances and / or onboarding process for candidates through collaborating with hiring managers.
  • Ensures applicable work orders are sent to IT, Training, and other personnel.
  • Responsible for maintaining employee personnel files.
  • Monitors programs for updated clearance requirements and along with the rest of the Human Resources team enacts and educates staff on changes.
  • Responsible for monitoring current employees’ clearance and license renewal processes, maintaining, sending, and updating monthly compliance and system reports, and providing clearance and license updates to monitors in a timely fashion.
  • Conducts quarterly internal audits to ensure files are properly maintained and all staff remain in compliance.
  • Assist in communication with external program monitors.
  • Keeps supervisor and Human Resources team abreast of current compliance status.
  • Assists HR leadership with projects and tasks.
  • Responsible for daily review and download of all electronic clearance results and reports.
  • Serves as Fingerprint Technician and Notary Public.

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Other duties and projects as may be assigned.

Minimum Position Requirements :

  • High School diploma and preferred minimum of one year experience in Human Resources environment.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Can operate in a team environment as well as in an individual capacity.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Able to work in fast paced environment.

Physical Demands / Work Environment :

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Vision abilities required y this job require close vision working with a computer monitor. While performing the duties of this job, employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. While performing the responsibilities of the employee’s job, these work environment characteristics are representative of the environment the individual may encounter.
