Doane University is seeking a dedicated and proactive Technology Operations Technician to join our dynamic team. The Technology Operations Technician will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining the university's technological infrastructure, including troubleshooting network issues, pulling cable, and installing AV equipment. Reporting directly to the Director of Technology Operations, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional support to faculty, staff, and students. This position will work both independently and as part of the Technology Operations team.The Technology Operations Technician exhibits a combination of capabilities from the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA). Within the SFIA profile, the Technology Operations Technician has level 2, 3, and 4 capabilities, i.e. follow, assist, and apply on the skills and duties outlined below.
