At Barron, our Purchasing Coordinator will:

  • Follow up with external suppliers on status of open orders
  • Electronically manage inventory via Purchase Orders, Transfers, and Receipts
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Inventory, and Warehouse departments daily
  • Research and procure parts and equipment for upcoming jobs
  • Process data timely and accurately and adapt to schedule changes
  • Coordinate with Accounting to ensure timely payment of vendor invoices
  • Cross-train with other positions and work on special projects as needed
  • Collaborate with Inventory & Supply team in establishing effective inventory procedures
  • Ensure Barron assets are secured, checked out/checked in, and maintained
  • Participate in cross-training to maintain consistent workflow during PTO or absences
  • Assist and participate in the execution of new Barron Inventory & Supply processes
  • Consistently maintain a ‘customer-first’ perspective
  • Exhibit a “Team Barron” attitude
  • Share Barron’s Vision & Mission of Improving Lives™

Compensation:

  • Full-Time
  • $20.00 - $22.00 per hour; DOE

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Inventory or related field, or similar/transferable experience
  • Forklift License preferred but not required
  • Pre-Employment Drug Screening
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
