Barron Heating, AC, Electrical & Plumbing is Hiring a Purchasing Coordinator Near Ferndale, WA
Job Description
At Barron, our Purchasing Coordinator will:
- Follow up with external suppliers on status of open orders
- Electronically manage inventory via Purchase Orders, Transfers, and Receipts
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Inventory, and Warehouse departments daily
- Research and procure parts and equipment for upcoming jobs
- Process data timely and accurately and adapt to schedule changes
- Coordinate with Accounting to ensure timely payment of vendor invoices
- Cross-train with other positions and work on special projects as needed
- Collaborate with Inventory & Supply team in establishing effective inventory procedures
- Ensure Barron assets are secured, checked out/checked in, and maintained
- Participate in cross-training to maintain consistent workflow during PTO or absences
- Assist and participate in the execution of new Barron Inventory & Supply processes
- Consistently maintain a ‘customer-first’ perspective

Compensation:
- Full-Time
- $20.00 - $22.00 per hour; DOE
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in Inventory or related field, or similar/transferable experience
- Forklift License preferred but not required
- Pre-Employment Drug Screening
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
