Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities.
Duties:
- Fabricate, install, and repair various mechanical components and equipment
- Utilize your mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and diagnose issues
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs
- Perform electrical repairs and installations as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Interpret and follow technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Supervise and coordinate contractors for specialized repairs or projects
- Welding and metal fabrication as required
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in maintenance or related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Electrical knowledge is a plus
- Ability to maintain accurate records using CMMS software
- Familiarity with interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience supervising contractors is preferred
- Welding and metal fabrication skills are desirable
- Excellent customer service skills
