Normandy Farm Hotel is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. An exemplary work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and a passion for providing superior customer service are necessary for all applicants. Applicants with experience working for first-class hospitality organizations will be strongly considered.

**Must be available to work 5:30 AM - 10:30 AM and work a minimum of 3-4 shifts approximately 18 hours per week to include Monday's. **

The hourly rate is based on hospitality experience and availability.

Job Summary

The main duties include setting up and breaking down each morning's breakfast buffet, ensuring buffet items such fruits, breads, cereals, and bakery items remain well-stocked, maintaining the safety and appearance of the buffet area and cleaning the area in preparation for the next day. Breakfast Attendants provide service for guests and ensure that each experience is as special as possible.

Breakfast Attendant Functions:

• Attends and Participates in all training sessions and team meetings.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner.
• Greet guests with a warm smile to make them feel welcome.
• Set up & break down of banquets, while having a full knowledge of each individual and event-specific floor plan
• Assist with overall functions at events, which may include running food to servers, running trays to the kitchen, etc.
• Cater to the guest’s requests and needs in a prompt and professional manner to ensure an overall superior level of customer service.
• Performs all assigned side work.
• General clean-up (bussing of plates, glassware, silverware, etc.)
• Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct.
• Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management.
• Reports to the Restaurant Manager

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards, guest relations, food, and beverage preparations as well as etiquette.
• Available to work weekends, evening shifts and major holidays (Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, along with other special events from time to time)
• Abide by all Laws and company policies that regulate serving alcoholic beverages.
• Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Always arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance.
• Frequently Wash Hands for proper food handling
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Able to lift to 25 pounds without assistance and in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.
• Must have reliable transportation.
