Sport Fit Bowie is Hiring a Lifeguard Near Bowie, MD
Duties:
- Monitor swimmers to ensure their safety and enforce pool rules and regulations
- Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents in the water or on the pool deck
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting patrons
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as pool cleaning, chemical testing, and equipment checks
- Maintain accurate records of pool usage, incidents, and maintenance activities
Qualifications:
- Must be a certified lifeguard with current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues in a variety of situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Physical fitness and ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
Note: Lifeguards are required to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.25 - $17.00 per hour
