A Production Maintenance Mechanic will be performing production corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance for assembly lines in two buildings.
Summary:
Job Title: Production Maintenance Mechanic
Job Location: Somerville, TN
Employment Type: Full-Time - Temp-to-Hire
Days/Hours:
1st shift Mon-Fri 7:00 AM to 3:30 pm
2nd shift Mon-Thrus 3:30 pm to 1:30am
Compensation Range: from $19.00 -$24 based on experience and shift.
Production Maintenance Mechanic responsibilities include:
Perform safe and efficient conduct of production maintenance operations. Perform daily tasks as assigned for production support as well as any special
project tasks as directed by the maintenance manager.
Responsible for performing maintenance/set up for lines and consistently
following proper standard operating procedures and correctly completing
needed signature verifications for related paperwork.
Assist management in creating and improving upon procedures that will
enhance maintenance efficiency.
Perform proper documentation of completion of preventive maintenance logs
and assignments.
Maintain a safe, clean work area and enforce MCP environmental programs.
Qualifications/Education:
2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance setting. With a strong
preference given to those candidates with packaging maintenance
experience.
Exceptional people and leadership skills.
Background in electromechanical troubleshooting and repair.
Background in pneumatic troubleshooting and repair.
