As our Human Resources Generalist with payroll experience, you'll be central in supporting our most valuable assets - our people! Wearing multiple hats, you’ll provide solutions to improve and support the company's growth. Partnering closely with the leadership team and employees across many departments, you'll ensure a seamless and positive HR experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. Your primary focus will be supporting payroll and timekeeping compliance, overseeing employee relations, policy execution, recruitment assistance, staff retention efforts, and regulatory compliance support. All these responsibilities will be carried out in a friendly and professional manner.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administration and completion of HR-related employee transactions
• Support payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate time records. Oversee and maintain our HR information system (HRIS - Paycom) for data integrity and efficient recordkeeping.
• Creating and providing HR support in a positive environment by having a true and honest connection with leadership and employees to address concerns, providing HR function support, and escalating new initiatives to help foster the company culture through its growth.
• Manage open positions by posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and ensuring an exciting onboarding process for new employees.
• Support rollout of other HR initiatives such as employee offboarding, performance reviews, and benefits administration.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting payroll and HR practices while ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with the small but mighty cross-functional HR team to resolve payroll and HR-related issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 5 years in previous HR role experience or similar
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field and 2 years of HR Generalist experience.
• 2 years of experience in payroll administration.
• A strong and clear understanding of Federal and State laws.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, highly organized, strong time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion, and professionalism.
• Strong communication skills, encompassing written and verbal proficiency, enable clear and effective communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) a plus but not required.
