Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care and support medical staff in various clinical settings.
Job Details:
Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Putnam, CT
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:45am to 4:15pm
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Temp to hire)
Guaranteed Hours:
Hourly Pay: $22 - $25/hr
Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform medication administration and document patient information accurately.
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and operate medical equipment such as X-Ray machines.
- Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including geriatric and pediatric populations.
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and coding for billing purposes.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
