Manufacturing company in the 77040-area seeking to add experienced superstar assemblers to the team.
Job Title: Assembler
Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm M-F
Description:
Seeking experienced applicants for an assembler position in a repetitive manufacturing shop environment. As an assembler you will be responsible for assembling and constructing various components and systems according to production orders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Assembly Duties:

• Receive and verify proper components for production order.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Assemble wiring harnesses in accordance with wiring diagrams and test for proper continuity.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for the construction of assemblies, and the installation of those assemblies into the finished product.
• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics in final assembly stage.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
• Perform functionality/continuity tests on complete assemblies.
• Troubleshoot systems, make necessary adjustments or repairs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in an assembly environment.
• Experience working with hydraulic equipment.
• Experience working with electrical and control wiring.
• Must have proficiency at reading drawings (blueprints).
• Must provide own tools.
• Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
• Capable of lifting at least 75lbs.
• Submit to and pass a drug screening.
• Submit to and pass a background check.
• Experience operation a jib crane or overhead crane.
