Geographic Information System Analyst - Columbia MO
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating both desktop and online environments within the ArcGIS suite, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize both standard and custom software for GIS data management and analysis.
- Innovate solutions by creatively using available information.
- Organize GIS operations to achieve set objectives.
- Uphold and document client design specifications.
- Establish quality standards for system applications.
- Conduct data collection and analysis for GIS outputs and manage data workflows to support GIS operations.
- Provide technical support to GIS users while staying informed about the latest advancements in GIS technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- At least one year of Utility sector GIS experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Expertise in spatial analysis and geoprocessing tools.
- Must have one year experience in ESRI ArcGIS Desktop Products.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS Online and ESRI mobile applications.
- Experience in mobile GIS data collection and GPS accuracy.
