Administrative Assistant

Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) seeks an energetic and detail oriented Administrative Assistant. This is a part-time, temporary position expecting to last up to one-year, offering a flexible work schedule working no more than 29 hours per week.

This position will provide administrative support to our Jones Ferry Road Water Treatment Plant staff. Key responsibilities include :

• Assisting with ordering, obtaining quotes, completing service agreements, completing purchase order requests, receiving invoices, submitting invoices for payment, and completing check requests.
• Data entry and data quality control for reports and presentations, agenda preparations, taking meeting notes and developing summaries, assembling memos, compiling reports, and assisting with developing presentations.
• Assist operations staff with updating standard operating procedures, operations and maintenance manuals, and scheduling tours.
• General office duties.
• Position requires a high school diploma or GED with one year experience working in an administrative / support role. Successful candidates must have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office;

prior experience using Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.
