Our Alpharetta, GA-based company is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Personal Lines Underwriter to join their growing team. In this dynamic role, you'll play a key role in underwriting profitable personal lines policies while also focusing on business development. Up to 25% travel throughout the Southeast is required to foster agency relationships.

Here's what you'll do:

• Become a revenue generator: Analyze market trends and leverage your underwriting expertise to proactively generate new personal lines business.
• Underwrite with efficiency and accuracy: Review and process quotes and endorsements swiftly, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Build strong agency partnerships: Travel to agencies throughout the Southeast to develop and maintain positive, profitable relationships.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment: Share your knowledge and work effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

To be successful, you'll possess:

• 3 years of Personal Lines underwriting experience. Excess and Surplus experience is a plus, but not required.
• Underwriting experience in the Southeast (AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, VA) is preferred.
• An Associate's Degree in Insurance and Risk Management or a related field is ideal.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a knack for quickly adapting to new software.
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with a strong customer focus.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, multitask efficiently, and prioritize effectively.
• A detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving and research skills.
• A drive to succeed and a passion for continuous improvement.
