Position Summary
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, installation of machines, tools, and equipment and in the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems of the facility.
The Maintenance Supervisor will direct, and coordinate activities of workers engaged in maintenance activities with direction from the Plant Manager to ensure the continued operations of Production.
Position Responsibilities
1) Supervise and direct maintenance personnel, including workload assignments and provide feedback on work. Assist in the maintenance activities of the facility and its grounds.
3) Coordinate activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.
4) Direct maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
5) Perform preventive maintenance program.
6) Directs training and instruction of workers to improve work performance and familiarize workers with company policies and procedures.
7) Directs Maintenance personnel in execution of Maintenance procedures. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
8) Perform other duties as assigned.
