ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Collect and compile street offerings to run them through Bloomberg for additional analytics and to get dollar prices based on the spreads given. The offerings are put into spreadsheet form for easy viewing by traders and salespeople.
• Maintain and update a centralized Portfolio database in Access of customer portfolios. Run queries in that Access database of Portfolios versus street offerings and customer bid lists
• Use Excel and the Bloomberg API links to create pool collection spreadsheets for Supers/Platinum analysis – Using a spreadsheet that allows for quick compilation of pools and calculation of the weighted averages for various descriptive fields (CPR speeds, WAL, WAC, LTV, Delinquency, etc.). This allows the traders and salespeople to quickly evaluate the group of pools to see if they would be right for a customer.
• Portfolio additions/subtractions – Perform month-to-month comparison of customer portfolios to identify new positions, positions that have been sold and net dollar effect. 
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong computer skills including the use of Bloomberg, Talisys, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook E-mail and the Internet. Ability to learn and operate additional software.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Series 7 and 63 preferred.
