Inventory Control Analyst
Description
This position is a salaried position at our Boise Plant.
Job Summary:
The position is responsible for overseeing conducting cycle counts, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in cycle counts. The position will be responsible for ensuring data and inventory accuracy using JDE and DSI operating systems as well as training employees on inventory control processes and procedures. This position will also be responsible for raw material storage, organization, and movement for production.
Core Responsibilities:
· Responsible of organizing and maintain accurate inventories of all raw materials and finished goods.
· Ensures all materials are visibly identified and labeled. Designates specific locations to materials, maintains materials organized in the assigned locations. Manages overflow situations by assigning and controlling temporary locations.
· Maintain communication with material buyers on inventory levels and timely replenishment. Relays shortages to the Production and Purchasing teams.
· Reports inventory discrepancies to responsible parties between physical counts and computer records. Investigates discrepancies and generates solutions to maintain accurate inventory levels.
· Performs and coordinates daily/weekly/monthly specific cycle counts. Reports results and investigates discrepancies.
· Provides direction to production and shipping personnel on cycle count findings.
· Investigates and reconciles transactional errors in operating systems to ensure timely work order closures and accurate reporting and owns root cause closure of system level gaps.
· Provides timely feedback to the Logistics Manager and Finance team regarding systems or inventory inaccuracies and partners with the team to ensure timely fixes can be put in place.
· Reconciles unresolved systems or inventory issues and concerns with finance and Logistics Manager.
· Evaluate units daily on the Lots at Line report and work with production to correct errors.
· Serves as a subject matter expert to answer questions from multiple areas on systems interaction and execution.
· Possesses up to date working knowledge of JDE operations on the front end as well as transactional understanding of how data is handled by JDE as it relates to moves, cycle counts and other material transactions.
· Tracks the production schedule, checks work order quantity produced vs scheduled.
· Interacts with functional areas including but not limited to planning, cost accounting, operations, shipping and receiving.
· Run and analyze MUV reports on closed work orders to analyze data as it relates to production performance.
· Manages the accuracy of BOM’s, routes, IT’s, FG’s, and WIP to ensure high levels of efficiencies.
· Manages the open WO’s to ensure timely reporting and WO closure
· Partners with the operations team to ensure proper WO execution and training.
· Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
· Support team in achievement of performance goals.
Qualifications:
· Experience in inventory and manufacturing; extruded components experience a plus.
· Excellent safety and attendance record.
· Excellent math and analytical skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and JD Edwards.
· Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets.
· Experienced operating material handling equipment or ability and willingness to learn how to.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Able to lift 50 pounds without restrictions.
· Detail oriented with good organization and time management skills.
· Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to work independently.
· Must be available to work overtime on short notice, which may include weekend, evening, or holiday hours.

Experience:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Associate’s Degree (two year college or technical school): Preferred
Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SAP, JDE with a preferential knowledge of SQL or data query applications.
1 – 3 years of related experience in manufacturing and inventory control methods.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $67,000 in our lowest market up to $70,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
