How you’ll make an impact.

MRP is searching for motivated and agile team players who are excited by a dynamic and fast paced manufacturing environment. As a Folder Gluer Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the setting up of the folder/gluer machines to produce cartons that meet customer specifications.

A Day in the Life:

• Maintain cleanliness of work area and empty waste bins.

• Ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.

• Strip excess material from product (based on job ticket information).

• Read job ticket to ensure job specifications are followed.

• Store and assemble shipping containers.

• Gather and pack product, per job specifications.

• Feed folder/gluer (per operator's direction).

• Make labels for packing cartons, as needed.

This is a full-time, on-site position on third shift (6:00PM-6:00AM Midwest Time Monday-Wednesday). However, changes in manufacturing needs and schedules may necessitate a change to the original agreed upon hours, or the working of additional, overtime hours. Every effort will be made to give advance notice of any permanent changes.

Basic Qualifications

• Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

• Computer Skills – Basic computer skills are required to read work instructions, record job data, follow work schedule, and communicate via email

• Flexible, adaptable and teamwork oriented.

• Ability to work overtime as needed.

• Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.

• Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications
