GENERAL SUMMARY
The Beyond Green Marketing Intern will play a vital role in supporting the Beyond Green brand’s marketing initiatives, social media presence, and member relations. As an integral part of the team, the intern will collaborate on various projects and campaigns, also having the opportunity to lead forward their own forward-thinking ideas and projects. The intern will learn firsthand about sustainable hospitality, gaining valuable insights and knowledge about the travel industry while contributing to our mission of making travel a force for good.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Marketing, the intern will work across teams and regions to support the Beyond Green brand. Getting unique exposure to the many departments such as marketing, social media, PR, customer relations, development, consulting, senior leadership and more. This internship offers a unique blend of hands-on experience, mentorship, and the chance to be at the forefront of the sustainable travel transformation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
A.Assist in the development and execution of Beyond Green marketing projects, including research, content creation, and campaign coordination.
B.Support the management and growth of Beyond Green social media channels, including content scheduling, engagement monitoring, and analytics tracking.
C.Communicate with Beyond Green members via email, virtual calls, and other channels to provide support, relay updates, and gather feedback.
D.Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and implement strategies for increasing member engagement and retention.
E.Assist in the creation and distribution of newsletters, promotional materials, and other member communications.
F.Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in sustainable travel and hospitality.
G.Assist with administrative tasks such as organizing documents and maintaining databases.
H.Meet associates across teams and regions and support other team members as needed on various projects and initiatives related to sustainable tourism and hospitality.
I.Participate in trainings and personal/professional growth exercises.
J.Propose and lead forward projects that align with Beyond Green's objectives and contribute to the intern’s personal and professional growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
•Proactive thinker, detail orientated and a quick learner
•Strong writing skills and oral communication skills
•Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment
•Ability to work to meet deadlines on their own
•Comprehensive experience in Microsoft Office tools
•A passion sustainable travel
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working environment is located in Newport Beach, CA and work takes place in the office. Office space is beautifully as well as functionally decorated including all required technology tools. Employee is seated most of the time.

3. Training on Green Room, CMS, SharePoint and other internal systems
