Job Title: Operations Analyst

Reports to: CEO

Location: Mesa, AZ

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

The Operations Analyst role at Northstar Preschools, a leading childcare platform, entails analyzing operational data, optimizing processes, conducting quality assurance audits, and managing reporting for government programs. This position plays a pivotal role in driving data driven decision making, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    1. Analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
    2. Generate regular reports and insights to inform management decision-making.
    3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend strategies for optimization.
  2. Process Optimization:
    1. Evaluate and streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    2. Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve the overall workflow.
    3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
  3. Quality Assurance:
    1. Conduct data audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
    2. Develop and implement quality assurance processes to maintain operational standards.
    3. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address and rectify any quality-related issues.
  4. Federal & State Program Administration:
    1. Gather and report key information for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and state and federal grants.
    2. Coordinate with site directors to maintain accurate records of daily attendance, meal counts, menus, food purchases, and program expenses.
    3. Submit accurate and timely claims for reimbursement through the state agency or sponsoring organization.
  5. Communication and Collaboration:
    1. Attend leadership meetings and participate in identifying solutions to key company issues.
    2. Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
    3. Act as a liaison between different departments to facilitate effective communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, techniques, and software, including advanced Excel functions and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of childcare regulations and industry trends is a plus.
