Cutting Edge Countertops seeks a Territory Sales Rep to take ownership of business in Columbus, Ohio.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of proven outside sales experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Industry Knowledge in countertops, kitchen and bath products, construction, home remodeling or interior design is desired.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.

Essential Duties:

  • Maximize opportunities to grow business by identifying leads, managing prospects, and acquiring new business.
  • Build strong relationships through frequent contact, in-person visitation, and product training sessions.
  • Exceed sales forecasts and customer expectations through strategic implementation of consultative and needs-based sales processes.
  • Build and maintain a network of sources from which new sales leads can be identified.
  • Increase market share; take lead responsibility in developing new key accounts, nurture and develop mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Distribute, maintain, and update marketing tools directly with customers, including displays, samples, and other sales-driven decision-making items.
  • Educate current and potential customers on our products, installation processes, product care, and warranty information.
  • Regularly report on changes in market trends, relevant competitor information, and revenue forecasting expectations for assigned territory.
  • Effectively use CRM system to document all customer conversations and interactions.
  • Assist customers, including availability during showroom hours and on the retail floor as needed.
  • Ensure effective and high-quality customer service, providing an experience that is positive and memorable.
  • Attend networking functions to increase Cutting Edge Countertops visibility in the marketplace.
