Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing electrical projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong project management skills, a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles, and the ability to manage project financials. The ideal candidate will have experience in the electrical contracting industry and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Schedule and manage project timelines, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project expenditures and financial performance, addressing any variances.
  • Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Address any issues or concerns promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and provide guidance and oversight to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the electrical contracting or construction industry.
  • PMP or CAPM certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in managing project budgets and financials.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Micrsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
